Mike A / Welcome to the neon swamp

Florida Man of Security.

My work spans AI security for AWS, application security, and secure local agents. Serious about the boundaries. A little less serious about the wildlife.

Unhinged solutions for an agentic security landscape.

I'm Mike, an application security engineer working on AI security for AWS. I'm interested in what happens when intelligent systems get access to real tools, real data, and real decisions.

Outside that work, I develop local agentic systems and explore how to make them secure. My lab connects research, retrieval, and data science, with a focus on identity, scoped permissions, and isolated execution.

I build to learn, ask a lot of questions, and keep following the interesting ones.

On my workbench

AI security

Exploring the security of AI systems: how they handle untrusted inputs, use tools, and operate within boundaries we can actually enforce.

Application security

Understanding how applications fail and building protections into their design, identity flows, and everyday development.

Local agent development

A hands-on lab for agent orchestration, retrieval, and data science. Local models, curated research, scoped access, and sandboxed execution.

The lab is a private workspace. My public profiles are linked here.
